Lisa Gorman has been facilitating group learning for 20 years.
She has worked in capital cities around Australia, in regional areas and in New Zealand, Chile and Indonesia with leaders and teams facilitating in many different formats including half day workshops, five day residentials and 10 month extended learning programs.
Lisa’s view is that
|Adult learning respects the wisdom of participants in the room and stimulates conversations to bring models, concepts and ideas to life in meaningful ways.|
Vocal animation, story-telling, visual aids, different space usage, questions, movement, group exercises, pausing, quotes, simulations, DVDs, instruments, humour, demonstrations, competition, music, case-studies, digital recording etc are all tools in Lisa’s kit that ignite insight and enhance outcomes for participants.
Lisa facilitates group learning outcomes by building from what is already known, showing respect and appreciation for the many practical contributions participants will make and by supporting all learners to use feedback and disclosure for their own and for others’ benefit.
When required, Lisa will call out bad behaviour, challenge inappropriate attitudes and always foster generosity of spirit and respect for other people.
