"In our line of work we often receive queries for assistance which is more of an HR nature than we're comfortable dealing with. Lisa has helped us out on more than one occasion by being the 'go to' person for our clients' particular requests. On one occasion, Lisa took on an urgent task for one of our clients during her last day in the country for 10 days - she managed to squeeze it in for our client so that our client could move forward.
What's been very nice is that the two (totally separate, individual) clients we referred to Lisa recently both came back to us and thanked us for the referral. They both learned a lot about what they were doing, and about themselves, and Lisa's gentle but well-informed assistance gave them ideas about where they'd been missing out on interviews, and what they needed to do to improve.
It is great to have Lisa as a trusted professional to whom we can refer our clients and we appreciate her open, honest attitude, knowledge, enthusiasm and talent."

"In the first half of 2008, Sarath Wijayapala, Project Manager, Non-Guided Explosive Ordnance SPO, approached Lisa to develop and deliver a workshop to be presented to Leaders of DMO in the Sydney basin. Having launched the DMO Leadership Alumni for employees that had participated in a range of leadership programs with Mt Eliza Executive Education, it seemed logical to attain the services of someone Like Lisa that had experience and success in facilitating for us previously.
The workshop was intended to bring together a range of leaders across our organisation and get them ‘back into learning’. This certainly occurred as Lisa facilitated some vibrant discussion relating to personal growth and success; exploring the role self esteem plays in providing confidence when leading others and looking at ways Leaders in the DMO could support each other into the future.
As I had attended the first of the Sydney Leadership Alumni’s workshops and believed the program designed by Lisa met with our objectives, I asked her to present the workshop to our staff in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Newcastle and South Australia. Participants clearly gained value from the session; many revisiting their responsibilities to Leadership and others taking new insights and challenges back with them to their teams. Lisa’s engaging style, energy and respectful approach was well received, fostering a positive and trusting environment that enabled disclosure and commitment to be given and shared amongst peers.
Travelling with her to the other states also allowed me to continue to reflect on my life, my success and to clarify what I value most. I would recommend her skills as a group facilitator to others knowing that her passion for meaningful pursuits and learning helps others to strive for great heights."

"Lisa was great – don’t let her get away! Her knowledge about all things leadership was fantastic and her passion for facilitating was clear. She created a supportive environment that made sharing comfortable – which I think really enhanced the value of the program.
The course materials were useful and informative without being overwhelming, and were organised in a way that was logical and cohesive. They will be a great resource to turn to in the future.
Thanks to both Lisa and Andrea for a wonderful experience!"

"Lisa is a unique person with the ability to help you with all your communication needs. She took a keen interest in what I was doing, giving me confidence to face one of the biggest challenges and toughest interviews ever; “The Telstra Business Women’s Awards”, and I made it:- TOP 5!"
Gina Field Managing Director, Nepean Regional Security
"During 2011 Lisa provided Southern Cross University with a customised Team Leader Workshop. She did this by working closely with staff to specifically design a two day program to meet the needs of participants.
Lisa’s knowledge of the area was extensive. She was very supportive of participants and was an excellent source of information by providing advice and answering questions thoroughly. Feedback from the training was very positive with participants being more than satisfied with the content and presentation of the program."
Renea Duignan HR Consultant, Professional Learning, Southern Cross University
"I attended an Academic Leadership Program [facilitated by Lisa Gorman] in 2011. I found many of the presentations and subsequent exercises insightful of my driving force in life. The insights helped me to understand some of my work practices - both positive and negative. The exercises also gave me the tools to change those practices that didn't serve me well. I am a much better manager of people and my research because of the program."

"I first met Lisa Gorman when I attended the Step Ahead course she was running on behalf of Australia Post. I was an acting Postal Manager at the time and Post was trying to increase its female numbers in supervisory and managerial roles. Coming from Far West NSW to the big smoke of Sydney, I was greeted by Lisa who immediately put me at ease.
The course was informative and very enlightening. By the end of the four days over three months, I had not only learnt a lot about myself but I had made a friend for life in Lisa. I have taken what I learnt from Post to the Canberra Times and onto the Australian Public Service. I encourage every woman and man who doubts themselves to touch base with Lisa. She will teach you how to trust yourself and how to put your best self forward."

"Lisa was fun to work with. She really knows how to put together a great speech and she gave me invaluable feedback. I really enjoyed the brain-storming plus the swapping of ideas. I actually enjoyed every minute of Lisa’s coaching process and it definitely helped me to overcome my fear around public speaking."

"Such an infectious personality, Lisa made everyone feel welcome. She made the course really enjoyable and it makes me inspired to be more like her."

"I thoroughly enjoyed your talk. It was very professional, but relaxing, and was enjoyed by all, whether they were members or guests. I say this because I have had many comments and emails from the members/guests saying how much they enjoyed the night. We will have at least one new member join and a younger guest being moved to ask to be informed of all our activities.
Your presence was most inspiring and I think many would have been surprised that this was your first venture with Zonta."
Kerrie Brown Area 2 Director, Zonta International
"What a fabulous presentation you gave last Wednesday evening. You wove all the ingredients from our discussions into a coherent, streamlined focused presentation.
I watched as you held people’s attention with your words, your wisdom and your professionalism, with you command of the spoken and written word, and the visuals to back up your key points and the obvious knowledge and research that made it all so believable and achievable."
Julie Midson York Speaker Coordinator, Hunter Business Womens Network
"We have had outstanding feedback on the success of the pasantia. I have heard from several different sources about the significance of the Mentor Development Program to the Mentoras and their perception of this component as the defining success. In my final meeting with Alime, she kept affirming how much this work had meant to all of them and their hopes for their new and strengthened working relationships.
Thank you so much for all the care and personal energy as well as your skilful professionalism. It was such a pleasure to work with you, and such a joy to see the impact of your work.
Dr Christine Woodrow Associate Professor, University of Western Sydney
"It’s been an enlightening experience working with Lisa. I particularly loved exploring the ways in which I learn and process information. This has given me deep personal insight and a fresh perspective.
Prior to coaching with Lisa I felt frozen by fear just thinking about public speaking. I now feel quite confident and am even enjoying giving presentations! I have stepped out of my comfort zone having received the ‘nudge’ to propel me forward. I’m really grateful for the opportunity and feel enriched by the experience. Thanks Lis!"
